Is the codeit workflow fixed?

No. Coding means different things to different people and no two coding projects are alike. You can use the tools within codeit in any way you like to fit your requirements. You can go full AI, code manually or anything in between.

Can codeit generate a codeframe and autocode my data?

Yes. At the click of a button, the Extract process will automatically analyze your verbatims, build a suggested codeframe and autocode your data against that codeframe. You can use the AI output as-is or use our unique Refine interface to finesse the data in any way you need to.

How do I check the AI generated output?

codeit offers an industry-leading interface that keeps you fully in control and gives you full transparency over the AI generated output. You can view the data in multiple ways and easily make any changes and refinements needed.

Can codeit generate sentiment analysis?

Yes. The Extract process also assigns a 5 point sentiment score to any codes it applies based on the verbatim content. A sentiment breakdown can be analyzed using our Visualize page and raw sentiment data can be exported for analysis in other tools.

Can I just code manually?

Yes. codeit contains the best manual coding interface available and many people choose to use it to code purely manually. For example, when coding Adverse Events, manual coding is mandatory, so codeit is an ideal tool.

Coding brand mentions is an entirely different challenge to coding full open ends. So, codeit contains dedicated tools optimised for the challenge of brand coding.
